Rodrigo is the team leader of a model development team at Origin Energy and has spent over 10 years developing information systems in ColdFusion, mastering this rapid application development platform.
At present he develops high impact information systems for energy traders, helping them manage risk in an extreme volatile market that trades 24/7 and where prices can range from -$1,000 to +$10,000 changing every five minutes.
Over the years he has developed in ColdFusion simple yet highly effective information systems that deliver business critical information in near real time fashion, not just for the trading floor but also on Blackberrys.
He was a Part Time Software Academic at the University of Technology Sydney for around 7 years, and more recently was awarded best Poster/Short Paper at Ausweb 2008 for “Transforming Australian Energy trading using web 2.0 technologies”
