Peter has been a Flex consultant for over 3 years, and has been using Flash for 8 years. Nowadays he, along with Johannes Nel, runs Memorphic, based in London and Capetown, creating applications and user interfaces for large enterprise clients. Over the last 2 years, he has worked with some impressive clients including Fidelity Investments, Airbus and LMG (Nectar Loyalty program), and many others around the globe.

But Memorphic is not just about development for large corporations, they have also created and contributed to several open source projects. For example Peter wrote and maintains XPath AS3 and Memorphic's open source application framework, Slide.

Peter is presenting Slide at webDU this year. I've always had an admiration for the Actionscript of PeterJoel, so it will be interesting to see how he's tackled modern RIA issues, in this low-key Flex framework.
