Adobe Community Expert, Master Flash Instructor, and long time Flash Platform evangelist, Matt Voerman has been using Adobe Flash since its inception as Future Splash in 1997. He has over ten years of professional web and new media development experience. Having worked with a multitude of organizations around the world including Macromedia, GE Finance, BT Financial, Westpac Banking Corporation, and the West Australian Government.Speaker Details
A regular speaker at industry events, such as WebDU, MAX and the Flash Platform User Group, Matt has been a driving force in promoting the benefits of rich internet applications (RIAs) within the Asia-Pacific region for more than five years. As an Instructor and Adobe User Group Manager, he also strongly believes in supporting, educating and growing the RIA development community as a whole.
Matt has written or contributed to several Flash and Flex related books including the Flash MX 2004 Developers Study Guide, Flash 8 Upgrade Essentials and is currently authoring a book for O'Reilly publishing (tentatively titled Flex 2.0 UI Design for RIAs)
