Dale Rankine has been a part of the Australian digital landscape for over 13 years, most visibly in the areas of Flash and mobile platforms. He is known around the world for the work done in growing the Flash mobile business ecosystem and developer community through his former company, Moket. Dale currently works at Vodafone Hutchison Australia, leading the new "Appland" team of mobile designers and developers, creating innovative smartphone applications for iPhone, Android and other platforms.

Dale is an Adobe Community Expert (Mobile), Adobe Ambassador and Forum Nokia Champion.He is a regular presenter and trainer at international events and conferences, including Adobe MAX, webDU and Nokia Code Camps, and has authored and presented dozens of articles and online video training courses on Flash mobile development. He has been a consultant and contractor to companies such as Adobe, Nokia, Hutchison and MTV Networks, and is passionate about engaging and empowering the developer community to take advantage of the growing mobile opportunity. He is equally committed to supporting sporting teams from his hometown of Brisbane, even though he's now working and living in opposition territory in Sydney.
