Carl Looper is a researcher and developer of software for film, tv, the web and art. His earliest work was a 3D computer animation for a television commercial completed in 1983, written in 8 bit Assembler and BASIC on a Commodore 64.

He has since worked on award winning short films, developed award winning desktop applications, programmed robots and completed numerous microsites for clients including American Express, Nestle, Qantas, IBM, Telstra, and the Ford Motor Company. He also indulges in science fiction and philosophy.

Carl is currently working on the development of machine vision tools for filmmakers.
