The Google Maps API

This talk will discuss some of the fundamental, and advanced features of Google's JavaScript Maps API. In it, we'll discuss the methods of displaying and manipulating the Map, adding your own content and customising the display of maps; everything from adding the good old Google marker, to creating custom TileLayers, and utilising geocoding, driving directions and Street View.

  • Prerequisites: Experience with JavaScript is recommended, but not required.
