Daniel Dura (San Francisco, USA)

Currently based in San Francisco, California, Daniel is a Product Manager for Adobe (formerly Macromedia) working on the Developer Relations team. When joining the company in February 2004, he was the lead enginner for the AIM Client for Macromedia Central and afterwards joined the Flex team as a Sr. Software Engineer.

My first introduction to Flash was in the days of Flash 4, but I became obsessed with the technology when Flash 5 was released. I have worked in many fields including education and telecommunications, where I have been able to explore the value of integrating Flash based technologies into these environments.

Before joining Macromedia my brother Josh and I founded Dura Media LLC, a Rich Internet Application development company based in Dallas, Texas. I have given presentations at numerous conferences over the past few years, most recently at the Spark Europe conference in Amsterdam where I presented a 3 hour seminar on Actionscript 3 and Flex 2.
