Dale Rankine is the CEO of Moket, Australia's first Flash Lite focused company which started in late 2004. He's been working with Flash and interactive media for the past 10 years, holding many creative, development and management positions with interactive studios and companies in his hometown of Brisbane. Dale also started the successful Brisbane web-studio DRD Interactive, and continues to currently operate as Managing Director. As well as being a regular presenter at the webDU conference since 2004 on the topic of Flash Lite, Dale has also been a speaker at Adobe MAX 2006, Flash Lite instructor for Adobe in Manila and London, and presenter of the Total Training for Adobe Flash Lite 2.1 DVD. This is all a far cry from his previous life as a professional drummer but Dale keeps things interesting now outside of work by being father to his three daughters, drummer in his wife's band and tragically addicted comic and toy collector. Life wasn't meant to be boring!
