This session will excite Flash developers about the potential of Flex 2.0 and provide tips and tricks for migration to Flex projects from pure Flash.

  • Prerequisites: Knowledge of ActionScript 2 and class based development.

Session Detail

This session will excite Flash developers about the potential of Flex 2.0 and provide tips and tricks for migration to Flex projects from pure Flash.  It will focus on many of the techniques that Flash developers need to "unlearn" in order to utilize the Flex environment and develop enterprise level applications. The presentation will delve into the architectural issues in a Flex project and examine best practices and why they are best practices.  Most importantly, this session will excite Flash developers about the incredible potential of MXML, ActionScript and the Flex family of products.
