Flex for Flash Designers

Flash used to be the only application you could use to create interactive SWF files. With the introduction of Flex in 2004 this is no longer the case. Will the increase in the number Flex developers mean that Flash designers will become an extinct breed within the RIA developmentscape? This session serves to reassure Flash designers (and developers) that the future looks very bright. It will cover the base set of Flex UI tools, as well as touch on how to integrate Flash content into Flex applications.

  • Difficulty: Experienced
  • Prerequisites: Familiarity with Flash.
  • Session Track: Flex
