WebDU 2010 Twitter Competition

Competition Rules

Here's your chance to win one of five full conference tickets to the most awesomest* web developer conference on earth.  And no, this is not one of those annoying Twitter things where people keep retweeting the same totally annoying Tweet till you want to go postal.

The rules are easy:

  • You will need to follow @webdu for the duration of the competition
  • In 140 chars or less tell us why you want to go to webdu. Entries must mention @webdu in your tweet. You can enter as many times as you like.
  • The competition runs from 12AM 14-April to the 23-April 11PM. Winners will be announced throughout the competition, ie. we're not saving up for a prize giving finale so be ready at any time.
  • Judges will choose the best submissions according to their own cryptic, and as yet unknown, and wholly subjective criteria (same as most competitions but heh at least we're up front about it).
  • Judges word is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Winners will be contacted via Direct Message from @webdu twitter account. This means you need to "follow" the @webdu twitter account during the competition, otherwise we won't be able to let you know if you have won.

That's right, its a wild grab for @webdu followers and a tortuous abuse of the whole Twitterverse.

Absolutely no idea what a Twitter is? Go to http://twitter.com/webdu and join in the fun. Lost for inspiration? Be sure to check out last year's winning entries.

*OK. So awesomest isn't really a word according to spell check but we all know what it means.
