webDU 2012 Scholarship Program
Every year the webDU conference directors award scholarships to folks who would benefit from the event, but for one reason or other are unable to afford the registration costs. The scholarship program awards full conference tickets at its discretion to members of the community who would otherwise be unable to attend. webDU is first and foremost a community event, and we're happy to extend what help we can. All scholarships are awarded privately and are not publicised in any way. If you feel you would benefit from the conference but life has thrown a few curve balls lately, please feel free to apply.
Scholarship winners are expected to help out on the day with monitoring sessions (making sure the speaker is settled and letting them know when their session is nearly over -- "5 minutes to go"). But apart from that you're free to do whatever :)
